I began my journey into Oriental therapy when I enrolled in a Shiatsu school in 1986. I graduated and became a full member of the Shiatsu Society UK (MRSS) in 1990. I have practised Shiatsu in London ever since and, having been recognised as a Shiatsu teacher by the Shiatsu Society in 1991 (MRSS(T)), I have taught throughout the UK and in Ireland. Since, 1991 I have taught Shiatsu annually in Spain and Greece. Shiatsu has given me a solid foundation in meridian sensitivity and understanding and a good “feel” for the acupuncture point system. It has also been for me a richly satisfying and rewarding experience to work with so many wonderful clients over the years.
In 1993 I enrol in the London Academy of Oriental Medicine and undertook a four year course in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine. I have practiced both since graduating in 1997 and have become a member of the Register of Chinese Herbal Medicine (MRCHM) and the British Acupuncture Council (MBAcC). Both of these disciplines have strengthened and deepened my understanding of Oriental energetic therapy, the human body and mind and of course the meridian system. I continue to practice Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine here in London both at the Qi Health Clinic – London Bridge and at the Kailash Centre in St John’s Wood (020 8722 3939).
Tim Mulvagh is also in practice at the Kailash Centre of Oriental Medicine in St John's Wood, London NW8
