Shiatsu is a form of Japanese bodywork, using the meridian systems and acu-points of Oriental Medicine. It is pleasant and relaxing to receive with the practitioner working the body through light cotton clothing such as sweat shirts, pants and socks. The practitioner uses the meridians and points to balance the body’s energies and stimulate its inherent healing power. Shiatsu is used for relaxation, pain relief and management and to improve mobility and to relax the body and mind.

Shiatsu for Whiplash
I had severe neck and back pain after a car accident 15 years ago. I had to wear the collar when I went to bed. But when I turned my pain came on and used to wake me up.
After each of my shiatsu sessions, I was able to sleep better, the pain eased notably and gave me a relaxed and light feeling.SB
Shiatsu for Hip pain going down the leg to the toe
I had this constant right side hip pain going down to the toe, since I had my baby a year ago. After having six sessions of Shiatsu, I am almost pain free. GG
Shiatsu for stomach pain
I used to get really bad stomach pain when I ate. I was so bad that I would have to stop eating and I had to lie down curled up with the pain. I was given x-rays and ultrasound, which did not reveal anything.
I came for shiatsu and after the first time the stomach pain was much less. And after six sessions of Shiatsu I had no pain at all. I am now normal.IQ
Shiatsu for Asthma and dry skinI am diabetic, have a very stressful job, had asthma – used the inhaler every day, and had very dry and peeled skin in both palms.
I started shiatsu sessions for stress relief and after the second one, noticed a remarkable improvement in my breathing, more relaxed and am able to cope with stress better. Also by the fifth session the skin on my right palm became normal and the left one still got some dry patch and cracks.
I had eight sessions of shiatsu and noticed my asthma attacks are less severe and don’t need the inhaler every day. The left palm skin is still little dry but very much near normal. AI
Shiatsu For emotional problems
I have a very stressful job and family life.
I was physically very active and enjoyed physical activities. I did a lot of DIY, went swimming twice a week, but mentally and psychologically I was exhausted and bored with my job and life in general I just wanted to run away from my life.
A work colleague recommended Shiatsu. After my second session of shiatsu, I started to feel much happier. I had eight weekly sessions. Even though I still get frustrated and angry, I am able to cope with the situation much better. I have started to enjoy my job and spending time with my family. TP
Shiatsu for PMT & menstrual problems
I used to get very irritated and tired a week before my period. My periods were irregular, had bad stomach cramp and clots.

I had severe migraine for last seven, eight years almost daily. I get a sharp eye pain, very tired and sick when I get the migraine attack.

Shiatsu for food intolerance
I had food intolerance and extreme tiredness after eating. I could not eat bananas, vinegar or fired food. I would get so tired at lunch, even if I only had a sandwich I had to go to sleep in my car. Medical tests revealed a high level of fatty acids in the blood.
I had ten sessions of Shiatsu. I began to feel less tired after the second session and by the end I was able to enjoy bananas and fried food and my energy level is very good now.TG
Our therapies, being based on Oriental or compatable with Medicine, are well matched and can be taken individually or in conjunction with each other. They are in most case compatible with Western medicines and therapies.
